Zip line through the woods, ascend floating spiral stairways to tree-house platforms and cross Carver's Falls on a suspension bridge on what USA Today says is one of 10 Great Zip Lines: Zipquest - Waterfall and Treetop Adventure in Fayetteville, N.C. The adventure begins with an orientation of zip line basics, and then it is off to the course which is located on 55 acres of pristine forest. The 2 1/2-hour course features 16 tree platforms, eight zip lines, three canopy sky bridges and four spiral staircases in the canopy, all led by trained and knowledgeable canopy guides. Group tours are also available. Fayetteville is about two hours from the Wilmington area, so a daytrip is easily in the cards.
