In recent years, Hampstead has stepped its game up for the late night eaters and sippers.  While the scene is highly low key, there are a handful of watering holes serving up cold beverages till midnight or later- some of which supply a late night, or even full menu till closing time. If a larger crowd is what you seek, certainly head south to either Wrightsville Beach or Wilmington for an onslaught of options.
